The rapid business and organic growth, the expansion to other markets and business areas required an early reorganization in several sectors as well as the reengineering of certain internal operating procedures at different levels. Simultaneously, the development of specialized technical services demanded a continuous and permanent update effort in the training of the technicians involved. Similarly, the performance of innovative low cost quality solutions quickly became a market requirement. 

To meet this challenges, BHB certified its quality management system following the standard norm NP EN ISO 9001:2000, being a pioneer in adapting this certification in its business area.

The increasing concern with the environmental aspects related to the company’s activities, as well as the safety of the employees involved in the assembly and technical assistance, led to the implementation of an integrated management system.

Therefore, currently, BHB is certified by the following standard norms:

• NP EN ISO 9001:2000;
• NP EN ISO 14001:2004; and
• OHSAS 18001.
