Cloud Point Process Analyzer

BHB provides a wide range of physical properties analyzers for the chemical and petrochemical industries and refineries.

The determination of the cloud point is essential in many petrochemical production units particularly in mineral oil products such as the medium distilled and liquid fuels. For its determination a sample (liquid and optically transparent) is cooled under certain conditions until at a given temperature the first paraffin crystals precipitate - this temperature is designated as cloud point.

The determination of the paraffin concentration in liquid hydrocarbons is essential for its further processing as well as for the internal process control, including the checking of the optimization of the process parameters. This analyser is usually provided in an integrated solution for the chemical and petrochemical industries and refineries.
