Distillation Process Analyzer

 

 

BHB provides a wide range of physical properties analyzers for the chemical and petrochemical industries and refineries.

The distillation characteristics of the liquid petrochemical product have to be analyzed in order to obtain maximum information about its behaviour in the handling and storage procedures.

The Distillation Point Analyzer is intended to monitor and control the production process and the composition mixture such as gasoline, the products used in petrochemical process (such as naphtha), jet fuel (such as kerosene), fuel oil, diesel, the paraffin products or even hydrocarbons with the maximum boiling temperature below the pyrolysis.

The automatic on-line analysis of the distillation characteristics of the liquid petrochemicals at atmospheric pressure, being possible to simultaneously analyse products from three sources (each of them with their own calibration flow). This analyser is usually provided in an integrated solution for applications in the chemical and petrochemical industries and refineries.

 

MEASURING PRINCIPLE:

  • Analysis from distillation per batch.

 

COMMON APPLICATIONS:

  • Quality control of the production process of chemical, petrochemical and refined products;
  • Monitoring of the compliance of the chemical, petrochemical and refined products to meet the pre-defined specifications;
  • Applications for high viscosity samples and/or pour point.

 

KEY FEATURES:

  • Robust and resistant design allowing easy removal of the containers;
  • Possibility of simultaneously analysing products from three sources (each one with its own calibration flow);
  • Possibility of personalizing the analysis particularly the specific parameters of each product;
  • Complete boiling curve is measured at every cycle, with the possibility of including other interesting points from the operating software;
  • Coke formation detection at the bottom of the containers from the operating software;
  • Integrated failure diagnosis and self-monitoring;
  • Communication: Modbus/RTU via RS485 or RS422 Modbus/TCP via VDSL;
  • Remote access via modem or Ethernet via VDSL;
  • In compliance with ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials).

 

MEASURING RANGE:

  • 20 °C to 420 °C.
