The portable pH/REDOX Analyzer specifies the acid or alkaline behaviour of aqueous solutions from its pH. It is also possible to analyse the ORP potential (also known as reduction-potential or ORP) is a measure of the oxidizing reducing of the measured media compared to the standard hydrogen electrode. This potential is often used to rate the disinfectant effect of chlorination.
MEASURING PRINCIPLE:
- The pH measurement is obtained by electrodes (that measure the signals). The pH is the common negative logarithm of the hydrogen ion activity;
- The ORP is a measure of the oxidizing reducing of the measured media compared to the standard hydrogen electrode.
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
- Water quality monitoring;
- Aquarium and fish farming;
- Drinking water monitoring, process control and soil measurements;
- Industrial process quality monitoring;
- Laboratory applications: (medicine, pharmacy and chemistry).
KEY FEATURES:
- High resolution (0,001 pH /0,1mV);
- Robust silicone protection cover;
- Background lighting dual digital display;
- Water-proof, IP67;
- Serial interface and analog output;
- Data-logger and alarm function;
- Calibration protocol;
- Battery lifetime: 1.000h.
