Phosphate Analyzer (PO₄)

BHB provides a wide range of liquid analyzers using different analysis modules according to the characteristics of the liquids, the components you intend to analyse and the applications they are designed for.

The Aluminium Analyzer measures the aluminium content in potable water, proving to be extremely effective and accurate up to 50ppm PO₄.

All the samples and chemical fluids used in the analysis process, mixture and unloading are precisely controlled by a management system which cleans the measuring cell in all steps.

MEASURING PRINCIPLE:

• Sample comparison by the measuring cell which then observes the chemical reaction of Phosphomolybdenum Blue with the Phosphates.

COMMON APPLICATIONS:

• Reduce the plumbosolvency of water supplies by monitoring the final water phosphate levels to ensure correct orthophosphate levels;
• Monitoring of final effluents to ensure adequate phosphate removal particularly in compliance with legal discharge requirements from municipal wastewater plants.

• Presentation of results from graphs with automatic calculation of statistical trends;
• Communication flexibility through Ethernet connectivity, 6 isolated current outputs, 10 configurable relay alarms, Profibus DP V1.0 and SD Memory slot;
• Option of simple or varied sample collection (up to a maximum of 3) with sample collection containers integrated and alarms in case of sample collection failure;
• Simplified fluid handling the simple piston pump withdraws a precise volume of sample and reagent through a manifold valve into the optical measuring cell and the movement of the piston;
• Advanced optical system with a LED light source intensity automatically adjusted at calibration to eliminate drift and compensate for any cell fouling.

MEASURING RANGES:

• Automatic Range: 0,05 to 50ppm PO₄;
• Undiluted Range: 0,05 to 10ppm PO₄;
• Diluted Range: 10 to 50ppm PO₄.

MEASURING PRINCIPLE:

• Accuracy: ≤ ±5% of reading or ± 0,005ppm (whichever is the greater);

• Repeatability: ≤ ± 5% of reading or ± 0,030ppm (whichever is greater);

• Resolution: 0,001 ppm or 1ppb;

• Measurement units: mg/L, ppm, ppb and µg/L;

• Calibration: 2-point automatic calibration, with the option of manual initiation. The interval between automatic calibrations manually selectable from four times a day to one a week.
