BHB selected for THE NEW BELGRADE INCINERATOR PROJECT

BHB has been awarded with the supply, commissioning and start-up of the Continuous Emissions Monitoring System for the new incinerator of Belgrade, Serbia.

 

The Serbian waste management company, Beo Cista Energija, has already started the construction of the new Belgrade Waste Incinerator, which is estimated to treat 66% of the municipal waste of the capital each year as well as provide energy to around 30,000 families.

This project is the result of a joint venture between the French public services company Suez, the Japanese conglomerate Itochu and the pan-European fund Marguerite Fund, in a project also supported by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Oesterreichische Entwicklungsbank (OeEB)

BHB has been awarded by the French company LAB to design, supply the analysis systems (ABB), the dust monitoring and mercury analysis systems (DURAG) as well as the dioxin analysis systems (TCR Tecora).

All the systems will be installed inside a 50m³ analysis shelter, manufactured at the BHB Integration Unit of São João da Talha (Lisboa).

BHB will also be responsible for the supply and integration of the Environmental & Process Data Management System from DURAG Data Systems.

As a Turnkey Solution, BHB will perform the local commissioning and start-up of the systems, as well as, for train the local technical team.
