INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE

 

By performing high added value tasks, we guarantee that the establishment of a maintenance contract with BHB is much more than a simple sub-contraction, being a strategic partnership which aims to optimize the equipment usage, extending its lifetime and leaving our Clients free for the activities in which they are specialists.

 

History


We provide technical assistance since 1997, having started this operation only in the domestic market. In the course of our activity and giving proof of our competence and effectiveness, the internationalization of this business became a reality, currently extending our industrial maintenance to Spain, Cyprus, Egypt, Morocco and Mozambique, where our local Clients have technical maintenance contracts.

We have always bet on the continuous training of our employees, who frequently have intensive training with our business partners.

We are currently responsible for the maintenance of over fifty industries in Portugal and as many others in international markets.

Covered by the Integrated Management System Certificate, the services offered are in compliance with the high quality, environmental and safety levels as defined by the standards NP EN ISO 9001:2008, NP EN ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001.

 

 

Operational Structure


BHB’s Service Operation currently integrates 26 specialized technicians, making it one of the largest service operations in Europe for the Gas Emissions/Process Analysis Systems and Air Quality Monitoring markets.

The multidisciplinary teams consist of a minimum of two technicians that are enrolled in one region or field of action. The service teams move in support vehicles with the sufficient equipment/ materials for the immediate resolution of the problems.

The existing know-how and experience of the Service Department, together with the manufacturer support, allows BHB to cover various areas of activity, namely in the following fields:

  mais    Continuous Emission, Process and Air Quality Monitoring;
  mais    Field and Process Instrumentation;
  mais    AC/DC Energy Solutions;
  mais    Noise Monitoring and Digital Signage.

   

Currently, there are nine Service Operations, from the North to the South of Portugal, including the Islands of Madeira and Azores.

 

 

Services Offered


The industrial maintenance services can be performed in two distinct modes according to the Client’s requirements and objectives:

  mais    Occasional Service Request;
  mais    Continuous Service, under contract, between BHB and the Client.

 

 

Occasional Service Request


Upon request for service, BHB internally arranges a specific team with specific skills required for the intervention.

First, a contact is established with the Client to make the diagnosis. After the diagnosis, in case of immediate resolution, the Client is informed about the necessary activities and then proceeds to intervention after approval. In cases where it is not possible to solve the problem immediately we proceed to the scheduling of a subsequent visit.

The equipment subject to maintenance can be repaired at the facility or collected to be repaired at our workshop.

 

 

Service Contract


The service contracts assure the full operation of the existing equipment in the installation according to the highest quality standards.

Working in outsourcing, BHB can provide technicians permanently at the facilities or conduct periodic visits for preventive maintenance, conditioned and/or corrective. The contracts can include spare/replacement parts in case the Client makes the requirement.

We believe this type of technical assistance has clear advantages and can be measured by the Client, effectively reducing the operation and maintenance costs of the infrastructures.
