The German company DURAG was established in 1948 by H. Wilhelm Schaumann after World War II. Smitsvonk was established in 1947, in the Dutch city of Zoetermeer, being bought by the German group DURAG in 2006. Smitsvonk is a specialist and world’s leader in the supply of high energy ignition systems, pilot burners and compressor ignition burners.
