Established in 1999 from a NASA - Caltech Jet Propulsion Laboratory spin-off, obtained its first success from the development of the laser technology, TDL (Tunable Diode Laser technology).

SpectraSensors has its headquarters in Houston (Texas) and their R & D and manufacturing facilities in Rancho Cucamonga (California). Counting on more than 90 employees, its global infrastructure includes more than 25 branches and distributors all over the world.
